Chenghe Guan

ChengHe Guan is a Research Associate at SURBA. He has been a Teaching Fellow in Urban Design Studios and in courses dealing with Modern Architecture and Urbanism in China, as well as Urbanization in the East Asian Region at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. He has also been a Short-Term Consultant for the World Bank Urban Development Sector and is a registered Architect in California. At Harvard University, he co-founded the Asian Real Estate Association and the East Asian Urban Forum. He holds a Bachelor in Architecture from Southeast University, a Master in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master in Design Studies from Harvard University. He is currently a candidate pursuing a Doctor of Design degree at Harvard. His research interests are on rapid urbanization processes that shape the future of cities.
